DSA Examiners Strike 21st September 2012
The DSA are urging all candidates with tests booked on Friday 21st September to attend as not all the examiners belong to the same union. Candidates who have their tests cancelled will only be eligible for out of pocket expenses if they turn up for their tests at the allocated time. For our customers using the Northampton, Kettering, Weedon, Banbury, Oxford, Peterborough, Peterborough Vocational, Bedford, Milton Keynes and Cambridge test centres your instructor will take you through the claims procedure should you have your test cancelled. We hope not too many are affected by the strike.
Car and Trailer Tests set to move to Multi-purpose Test Centres
The DSA are considering moving the car and trailer tests away from the vocational test centres where there are multi-purpose test centres, this will no doubt coincide with the motor cycle test changing to going back on the road. At the moment this is hearsay (but from reliable sources) and we will endeavour to get the information as soon as possible. Likely moves will be Northampton - Weedon to Kettering and Peterborough Vocational to Peterborough Multi-purpose Test Centre. Will keep you posted........
Examiners strike postponed!
If you have a test booked at the following test centres on 13th September please read on.. Northampton, Bedford, Peterborough, Kettering, Weedon, Banbury or Oxford. The strike which was due to take place on the 13th Sept has been called off so tests are scheduled to go ahead as planned. We will update the blogg when we have the next dates from the DSA.
